I like your method of skinning as well, are you hooked up to a winch?
It's a weird deer called a blacktail. Pretty much only find them in the NW.
Yup I know of them. Wasn't sure if where he was taken
It's just a rope hooked to a bumper. The rope is wrapped around a rock under the hide. Pulls the hide right off with no hair on the body.

We have tractors, 12 or so of them, 3 or those with loaders. Sometimes tractors are not useful for hanging deer over a day as we need them or they can't get to the places where we plan to hang them for more that a day.
I was thinking of some flat steel for a track like what meat lockers have, sliding barn door track or some similar. Some simple like rebar bent over the trusses etc and then a pulley setup.
Idk, never seen a thread about this and I was looking for ideas is all.

Yea you could use a piece of I beam and a cheap trolley set up if you want to move them. We built one at my dads barn. It has many uses since it has large castors and can be rolled around.

When I'm close to home it's either the tractor bucket of back of the truck and I have a lift in my garage (platform seen in background). We use it to haul things up to our loft storage space in the garage. I simply attach my gambrel and hit the magic button and up he goes!
