I am in the market for a quality shooting matt. I am not concerned about weight but would like something with good padding for long periods of laying in the prone position. There seem to be quite a few options when looking for these. What do you guys use and why?

I have also seen the drag bag combo shooting matts. Does anyone have any experience with these as well. Thanks for looking.

I made my own so I have no experience with commercial offerings.

However, be warned against anything with black plastic/rubber etc. You'll wanna take some shots from your back so that you'll be cooked evenly on both sides.:)

Thanks for the info guys.

Roy, sounds like I need to find one with a popup umbrella built in to it :D

Check this: Rain or Shine or even snow.
