What is the consensus?

I just bought a Remington 700 Sendero SFII in 7mm and mounted a Leupold
VX-3 4.5-14x50mmLR with a Greybull Precision Lens

Question...... do I adjust the stock trigger or do I just install a Jewell trigger ?

Any other suggestions to do the Rifle would be appreciated

Thanks in Advance

Mike

I also have a Sendero SFII, I put a Timney in and like it about 100% more than I liked the original trigger.

IMO the X-mark triggers are horrible... I could not get a consistent trigger pull weight out of it for the life of me. Fire that X-Mark trigger into the bush as far as you can!!!

A friend of mine has a couple of rifles with Rifle Basix triggers and one with a Jewell. After shooting them all (timney, Rifle Basix, and Jewell) I dont think that you could go wrong with any of them... The RB, and the Timney are about equal, and the Jewell is nicest.

Hope that helps
