seating depth question

I picked up a Remington Model 7 that WAS chambered in 7-mm08 but it was rechambered to 284win. I have never had a rifle that was rechambered before.
I reloaded 10 rounds and seated them were the cannanlue is just showing a little bit. When i loaded them in my in the mag I noticed that they were too long to cycle. What is a good bullet with a long ogive that I can seat deep.?
