I sold my 300 wm to a friend he. bought a leupold vx3i from cabelas, I set him up at 3.4 inches high at 100 yards figuring he should be dead on at 300 yards by plugging in all the numbers on ballistic site.
3 of us shot it and we are 3 to 4 inches bellow dead center, way off all of us at 200 yards , which should be about 4 inches high still. rechecked fps still at 2986. bring target back in to 100 and all of us are 3 to 4 inches high at 100 yards, which should be right. this scope has no parralax adjustment on it. any ideas for me.
