im shooting n120. what is better about the 110?

They are largely interchangeable. Vv110 being a touch faster, which means fewer grains for the same velocity.

I'm currently running 46 grs of 4759 with a 250 barnes....because vv is hard to locate. Gun shoots moa and has good fps.

Never liked 5744...very dirty.
4227 shot well too.

Travis74 are you planning sticking STRICTLY with Savage factory recommended powders? As there are a considerable amount of non-recommended Savage powders that are superb performers.
