My son has decided this isn't what he wants and wants to sell it.
It is a model 12 Blue action, stainless factory fluted heavy barrel. I am not sure what it started life as, and am unsure of the stock make sans the Aluminum TRACKER buttplate.
Previous owner used factory ammo, and gave me the 500 rds of spent brass he shot in it before selling to my son for a custom remington gun. This has an aftermarket trigger, pull weight is 10 ounces but could be set higher.
Scope is a Springfield armory 6-20x56 Government model, mildot and bubble level inside the scope. Looks like Leupold bases and probably Leupold rings.
I shot it with some ammo I loaded 20 years ago for my 22-250, 34 grains imr 4895 pushing a sierra 55 spt bullet and I got right at an inch for 5 at 100 yds.
He would like $900 for the rig
I am also sure he is interested in a trade towards a Remington 700 Varmint 221 fireball rig.
Thanks
Allen
