I would like to rebarrel from 30-06 to 338-06 and I am looking for detailed instructions on how I would go about doing it and what tools are necessary.

I have heard there is an article on this in a very well known magazine but cannot trace it. Please email any information you have to lerouxgv@telkomsa.net
    TIA

    Tools: Barrel Wrench, vise.

What exactly do you want know about the procedure?

kobie, Do a search on this forum under bullets, barrels, and ballistics there is an excellent thread titled Savage switch barrel question started by demarpaint (member #662). It should be very helpful.
