I have been able to hunt most of the species of big Game in the world. I have been asked many times what is the best deer hunt, it is the Rusa deer on New Caledonia island they are wild and free you can hunt them on your own or with a guide, I have done both. hunting takes place in July and August when the rut is on they are very vocal. New Caledonia is north of New Zealand and east of Australia in the Corral sea. you see lots of deer daily and turkey you can take more than one deer. It is also a nice place to take your wife whether she hunts or not. this is a very exotic place. and it is cheep. Great sea food.
