Short action. XP-100 with 17.5" bbl.
I have 0.140" freebore; can load to ~3.0175" OAL with the Hornady 162 ELDX.

I use imr7977 with a 168 vld and average 2940fps. Here is my data
Rem 700 with factory 24" bbl and Wyatt's 2.99" box
Norma brass at 2.025"

168 vld @ 2.915" for 0.050" jump
This load shoots bug holes and has been consistent from 60F to 0F. Slight drop in velocity but not much, 8-12fps drop.
I would think that you could get 2900 with either this powder or retumbo. Using 175 a-frames and retumbo I safely reached 2850, but it shot best at 2825 a half grain under my max.
