Ring and base questions

I am putting together my first semi custom rifle. It is a savage LA with a Brux barrel chambered in a 7WSM.

The scope I have decided to go with (when they become available) is a Vortex Viper HS Long Range 4-16 x 50.

I am considering using Burris dual dovetail rings and bases.

I wanted to use the offset inserts instead of a 20 MOA base to allow maximum (of close to) elevation adjustment.

My question is does Burris make the Burris Signature ***-Align Offset Inserts for 30mm scopes? All that I can find is 1".

Would I want the standard or reversible bases for this combination?

I believe the only signature rings they make that take the offset inserts for 30mm are picatanny style. Not dovetail.

Thanks guys - I understand that they do make the dual dovetail 30mm rings.

What about the different inserts like they do for the 1" rings?

they dont make the +/-.005or the+/-.020 for the 30mm rings that i know .

Burris does make 30mm Signature Rings. They come with both the 'zero' and +/- .010 inserts (as a result, they do not sell them separately). If you put the -.010 on the front and the +.010 on the back, you get a cumulative +.020 (~20moa) cant on your scope. You can see the rings on my 260...

I think I will go with the Burris dual dovetail setup and Signature rings.

Good looking rifle. I had MCR blueprint my action, chamber a Brux barrel, assemble it, and CeraKote it.

I have not shot it yet but MCR was very good to work with and if it shoots half as good as it looks I will be happy.
