Rifle in Joe Kidd movie?

In the movie Joe Kidd Robert Duvall pulls out and uses a very nicely engraved Savage lever action with a forearm stock I've never seen. Any info on which one it was is appreciated.

I believe it's a Savage 99 that was engraved basically. Some did have a schnabel forend.

Yes it's a 99 but even the schnabel forend looks different. Beautiful rifle though!
