Why is it a limited edition? Caliber or LSS? Does it say limited edition on box?thanks.

It's simply one of what Remington calls a "special run" where they build a limited number (they won't reveal how many) of either discontinued or never offered models/chamberings on a one time basis. Of course, if they sense a viable market for it they may produce more. I believe that's how the CDL SF began.
I do not have the box it came in & there is nothing on the gun itself saying Ltd Edition. It was presented to me in that term & stuck with me I guess. Limited production may be a better description but only Remington seems to know how many they made.
I don't understand why they insist on being so secretive about production numbers.
