I don't have a Rem 222 per say, but I put a Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15x42 on my 20-222 and it made for a really nice setup on that rifle. I think there's a couple nice clean used ones for sale in the classified section.

On my 700 BDL sporter in .222 ,I have a straight 12 X Leupold , with a reticle change to a 1/8th dot, and then some times I change to a 30X Leupold also with a 1/8 dot. Just for fun!!! I love this little rifle for just relaxed target shooting.

Awesome. Im planning on putting a rail on it so I can swap out scopes if desired

My rifle has a 12 twist so 55 grn is the max bullet weight I can really shoot. I'm usually between 50 grn to 53 grn . Hornady V Max and Berger. Some times I can put three shots into one ragged hole at 100 yards, off a rest, if its not too windy . Let us know when you get the perfect load for your rifle.
