Rem 700 LA and Accupoint mounting problem

So I have a long action Rem 700 with Talley one piece 1" low rings. I pulled off my Leupold VX II to replace it with a Trijicon Accupoint 3-9x40. My Trijicon won't work with the Talley rings. Due to the tight eye box of the Trijicon, I can't get the scope back far enough. Also, the power adjustment ring is making contact with the low rings.

I obviously need new rings, but don't want to buy another set to find the same problems. Anyone have any suggestions on the best ring base combo? This is a lightweight hunting rifle so I would prefer to add as little weight as possible, and preferably budget friendly.
