I am using several sets of the Nightforce pic rail and ring setups. I can't say enough good about them. Get the 4 screw set of rings. I think ad far as dimensions and width for what you are explaining, I think they will do exactly what you want. Go with the 20 MOA rail and if you're worried about clearance get the medium rings. They will allow you to put a scopecoat or other cover on it also. You want to keep that scope protected and clean.
