Opinions on .338 lapua improved

I think it is the best option for an LR rig without going to extreme lengths.

Lapua brass is readily available and unbeatable in quality, while an improved version in a 30+" barrel will surpass 3000fps with a 300 grain bullet, which with the offerings from Berger and Sierra make it a great choice.

If you want to go further or faster with bigger, you get into the Cheytac and other wildcat territory.

I have a .375AM being made in the same chassis so I thought it would be a good practice rifle. Then thought process changed and this rifle is becoming my brothers long range rig so he can enjoy the long range stuff with me. I dropped it off to Mitch at lethal to get a 34" bartlien 1/8 twist improved.
