Old Redfield scope adjustment?

I have a 2-7x wide view Redfield on a 700 BDL Custom in .308 Win. that hasn't been shot for about 20 yrs. I went to the range, and had problems getting it on paper @ 20 yds!!!

Does anyone know what the adjustment is on the old Redfields? 1/4", 1/2", other? The adjustment is smooth and it has no audible clicks.

I had a Redfeild Widefeild or something like that, 3 by 9. It did not have audible clicks either, it had marks that were 1/4 moa. I got it in the mid 80's. It quite working about 5 years ago. I sent it in and they sent me another one. It had plastic were other scope was steel. The replacement only lasted 3 years. I replaced it with a Nightforce. That redfeild cost me a deer.
