Nikon Monarch VS Burris FFII Tactical VS??

I'm looking for a new scope for my walkabout varminter .223, my requirements are:

-Magnification in the 3-10x40 sort of range
-Decent Glass
-Durability
-Accurate and repeatable finger clickable adjustments

I'm looking at the Burris FFII Tactical 3-9x40, the Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x42... does anyone have any experience with these? Are they any good or should I just suck it up and buy another VXIII?

Any other suggestions are welcome...



A photo of the turrets on the Nikon would be informative too, if anyone has one... I'm currently leaning towards that option.

Well both are fine scopes but nikon probably has the better glass. I have them both and like them both. Course my favorite is Zeiss but cost is higher.
