Well, he wasn't long range, only 180 yards, but with a .375 H&H he was pretty happy to flop down.

I used the Federal Cape Shok loaded with Barnes TSX 300gr.
It went right through him. Even so, he started to sit up, so I whomped him again and that time the bullet turned on a rib and went through his vitals and his right rear leg and then stopped against his skin where his butt was sitting on the ground. The bullet petaled perfectly! Sorry for the blurry pic. I used my phone. To be honest, it's the first all-copper round I've recovered and I had to wonder just how well they worked.

The pup is a third generation hog dog of a local guide who was hunting with us. He can barely walk, but he launched onto that dead hog like a champ! Good potential!

Well, he looked broadside to me, so I don't know how else to explain it ripping through him longways! Haha!
