Why is it taking our bullet making companies so long to use the new slow burning powders? A while ago I asked here for data on the 257wby and Retumbo and got some good info. Well now I have picked up some Vit N570 and info on it does not exist. Looking in the Nosler manual they list it the same as rl33,US896 and N570 all the same burn rate. You look up their over bore 26 Nosler and it is plain to see that US806 is their powder of choice or basically anything Hogdon makes.
So lets help each other here and suggest loads for these slow powders and the over bore cartridges. If someone would like they can offer the official definition of an over bore cartridge to me the 257Wby fits this category.
