I dropped off my model 70 of at the gunsmith today to have it rebarreled and some other work.
Now I'm in the market to replace the factory stock. Its a budget build so I wasn't planning on getting a Manners, McMillan, etc. but after looking at the limited options of HS and B&C, mainly due to it being a model 70, I'm looking elsewhere. Plus some stocks require a one piece floor plate, which bumps up the cost more.

If anyone has recommendations for a composite stock that I should look at, it would be appreciated. Especially if it uses the original two piece floor plate.

Pillar bed a laminate from Boyds or Stockys. Boyds has quite a few different designs some have an adjustable cheek piece option a couple of thumbholes as well. All are under 150 shipped without options
