Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and came across it trying to find a good coyote rifle. The dogs in our county are out of control and my son and I are trying to level the playing field. I'm leaning towards a .223 or 22-250

Unless you think the fur is worth something, I vouch for a 243 shooting the heaviest highest BC bullets you can manage. My 243 is a reliable coyote killer, if I ever see any...

I would choose the 22-250 over the 223 for more range and energy but like a 2506 if hide is not important.
