I have changed directions a few times and have a short action with mag bolt face and a stock for it.I have now decided on a 6.5, just not sure which one. I was thinking a wsm or saum, but after looking, they look very comparable to the 6.5 Remington mag. I reload, so factory ammo is not an issue, but I was thinking of dies and brass and finding someone to chamber the wsm or saum. If anyone has any experience with any of these or advice, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Sounds like you got your mind set on the 6.5, but you may consider a 7mm saum. Better barrel life, etc. I've got some of the new berger hybrid 180's to try with a BC of .674! That or get you a standard bolt face and do a .260. That's just my opinion!
