Need 7saum 140grn BERGER load!!! HELP!!!!

Do you guys have anything on a 140 Berger in this caliber!?

I have not loaded the 140 Berger, but I have loaded, many 140 grain bullets including Nosler Accubonds, Nosler BTs. 140 Barnes TSX and TTSX's. I am also shooing the 168 Berger.

My favorite powder at the moment is RL-19 for the 140 grain bullets. Alliant gives the Max load of RL-19 at 63.0 grains. I have gotten good results with 62.0 grains. This load has produced 3060 ft/sec out of my Rem 700 with a 24 inch barrel. I think that RL-22 is another good choice as well as IMR-4350.

With heaver bullets(160-168 grains) I have used IMR-7828. 59.0 grains behind a 168 Berger has shot very well out of my gun.

I can't help you with the 140 Berger but my rifle loves the 162 Amax. I'm using 65.5 gr of H1000 with a COAL of 3.017, which is .005 into the lands. That gives me a velocity of 3057 fps out of my 28" 1-8.5 twist barrel. The 162 Amax has devastating effects on the deer and antelope we have taken with it.

berger data shows a max of 61.8 gr of reloader 19 and 64 gr max for imr 7828ss these are two of the faster loads
