Can someone explain to me the process of going from 338rum to 257AM? or the like say 460wby to 338kahn? how many steps? do you neck turn before starting? neckturn when near desired cal? anneal during necking down?anneal just before loading or after firing? and finally when fireforming I would be inclined to use a false shoulder IE 6.5 on the 257AM but how stiff of a load do you use compared to a normal(formed) max load?

The way I did it as explained by Kirby was, forming 7mm AM cases, start out with 338 LM cases, use a redding bushing neck sizer, and go 5 steps down with progressively smaller bushings till you hit .308 neck size, resize in a FL sizer for a crush fit then load up and fireform.
My fireform load is 95 gr of WC872 behind a 150 gr nosler BT, my hunting load is 110 gr of WC872 behind a 160 accubond.
