I love the nitride finish on the outside and the action but I dont know if ill have another one done. When you have a rifle! that shoots well right away; I think its best left alone.

I agree, my current build 6.5 SS is not being nitrided. Two Bartlein barrels are being shouldered for a new SwitchLug in 3 different S/A cartridges ( total 6 barrels). Pretty sure they'll out last me, maybe my grandson.
