Is that the stock bolt? I want to have my bolt in my 7mm Mag just like that. Just curious if you had it coated in the stainless brushed look and fluted?

The bolt is the factory bolt. "308 nate" on this site is the gunsmith. He fluted the bolt and installed the tactical knob. He then KG coated it.

The paint job on the action is it as corrosion resistant as stainless or is it just for looks? It looks sharp, nice rifle!

Sweet stick! Stock color is a great choice with the matte SS.

The rifle was originally matte black ADL. The reciever and bolt is the only thinkg left original so for looks I wanted it to match the barrel better so I had it coated. The reciever and bolt are not stainless underneath.

thanks guys, this one has been a 4-5 year endeavor. Nathan had it in his hands twice in that span and was real patient with me and a pleasure to do business with. Matter of fact he should get my Winchester this week for just a few goodies, nothing major like this one though.
