So I've slowly been getting reloading gear together and last week my Forster press showed up.

I got it mounted Saturday and was so excited to try it out, but didn't have dies in yet so I figured I would prime some brass. It was easy to set that up on this press and after I had done about 20 rounds I stopped and thought "Oh crap! I probably should not have done that!"

I've been reading a couple reloading manuals and sure enough, had skipped ahead a few steps. So, my first time using the press and I've already messed up, but man it was sure fun and easy! :D

My dies should show up this week and then I think that's about all I have left to get in before I can actually start going through the entire process.

It should not be a problem. Just adjust the decapping rod high inside the dies so that it does not decap the primer.
