I have post '64 Winchester Model 70 Classic CRF (made in New Haven), chambered in 300 RUM. It has the factory synthetic stock (not free floated) and 2-piece bottom metal. The barrel is the factory sporter, fairly thin, 26".

I'm having a bit of a hard time trying to find a light-ish weight carbon fiber stock for it. I spoke to Bell and Carson and they said their long action should work with the 300 RUM, but I'd need to buy a conversion plate from 2-piece to 1-piece stock adapter from Midwest Gunworks.

Does anyone know of other options for stocks, preferably a bit lighter weight, and maybe a stock that's made for the 2-piece bottom metal? Also, a lot of the stocks I've looked at don't seem to be made for magnum length action. Thank you.
