model 70 boss

I hae a 7rem mag model 70 with the boss on the end the barrel is only like 23-23.5 inches long I was considering rechambering to stw but with the shorter will I see much gain in velocity to make it worth it. I've had the gun for awhile but can't afford a rebarrel so was looking to up the performance a little.

For what your gonna pay for the rechamber I would advise AGAINST it , their will be a minimal increase in velocity .

I'd save that money for the rechamber and put it toward a new barrel.
