The Real Gunsmith on his YouTube channel says his 7mm mag with long freebore will do 3200 with the 175's, that is impressive, my 300 WM only does 3100 with 180 AB's.

The real gunsmith in my humble opinion blows a lot of hot air

Agreed, but I am not one to tell others what their equipment will do . He is interesting to listen to though

The 7 saum caught some speed about 120 rounds in at 2840.

Did work in NM at 640 yards on the last day.

I've taken the nm muley, 3 axis and 2 WTs so far with one exotic hunt remaining. W

I can get higher velocities with the 180's safely but the accuracy fades fast past 3120 or so with 79.3 gr H1000 being very accurate out to 1000 yards, as far as I have shot at our bench rest range. Not very many places where I live that I can shoot that far without blowing across a couple of houses and maybe a public road

That is amazing. My rifle is a commercial Mauser with a 26" barrel. Made by Heym for Mauser with a Krupp barrel, Conitrol rings/base. I had some Norma factory with Partitions and they would do 3,000.

Just put some of these together. 135gr Berger, 3185 FPS behind 56.2gr RL 26 out the plain old 25-06

I have had very good luck with Norma ammunition, high quality and you end up with good brass, mainly why I buy it.
