Hello all,

I have some 280 brass which I want to reload to fire form for my 280AI. Can anyone recommend a load to use? I have some IMR4350 and RL22 which I can use up for this purpose.

Thanks!

Fill the case 3/4 with Bullseye and stuff a little piece of cotton ball in to keep it from falling out and shoot. I have done thousands and thousands this way--perfect brass every single time. Be careful to keep the heat down as this will heat up quick!!

A little trick I learned from Speedy--he does all of his this way.

I use a few grains under cream of wheat... no stuffing at all. Less heat, less $ of powder with the same effects.
Im guessing ive formed 800 rounds with this method, and only lost 1 case. I use titewad powder... but bullseye, reddot, x700... whatever is cheapest, or you can scavenge. If its a fast pistol or shotgun powder... it will do.
