I had a 270 win built on a 700 action and #4 lilja barrel last year. I LOVE it. Pushes 130 ABs 3000+, minimal recoil, no need for muzzle brake, easy to load for....destroys white tails with great efficiency.

I'm sure I'd be pleased with the standard 270, but looking for something with a little more h.p. I think I will be making it into an improved version. Just not sure which one yet. Thanks for all the info.
