Long range hunting magazine?

I thought that this forum was a long range shooting magazine???

There are no "paper" mags of the sort due to the smaller market niche, plus most shooters aren't progressive enough to appreciated LR hunting/shooting.....

Every aspect/consideration for shooting to 1 mile I've found here.

THIS IS IT You don't have to wait for the beginning of the month to read new articles. It is updated every day and you can get answeres to your questions within minutes by the best knowledgeable group of friendly guys you would ever want to meet.
When I am chillin at home I am on here, learning and reading good stories or trying to answer questions to help other members out just like they helped me. Even the Gunsmith's on this site will answer your questions so you can resolve any problem you have yourself before they try to sell you their services. Top notch Gunsmith's on this site also, I have used one myself. Welcome and enjoy.

Oh, and no subscription fees :D

I never cared for gun magazines, no matter what specific category they targeted. The articles are written by people who generally lack sufficient knowledge in order to accurately write about the subject they're writing about. Granted, much of what you may read in mags may be credible, but I've seen some grossly mistaken statements and claims; some of which are just unbelievabely ridiculous. An example of one such statement was about how border patrol agents in Southern California recently discovered two tunnels under the border along with a seizure of 50 tons of marijuana. The VERY NEXT SENTENCE that followed was, "That's a million pounds."
Do the math.

Precision Shooting is what you are looking for. Excellent magazine for various calibers short and long distances and have great articles. My dad has been a subscriber for as long as I can remember. No bs and I think articles are actually done with how the product performs in mind not how much you are paying in advertising and get a real wiz bang article like most out there. If you call them I believe they will send you the first one for free to see if you like it.

This is a great place but for where I don't get wifi varmint hunter is the best. Lots of in depth articles details and knowledgable writers. Precision shooting is also good but it seems to me that they get a bit too focused on getting a 50 year old factory or other inherently not so accurat gun to see what it can do as of late A lot of it doesn't seem to precision to me it's great for those who are into the history of certain guns. That said you will prob like both as there is nothing else even close to good in terms of firearms mags in my opinion

Actually if you look at the forums list this place is everything thing but LRH. BB guns, turkeys, fly fishing, .22 shorts, atlatl, crossbows, mathphews, etc etc.

In answer to the gentleman's question I'd say "Precision Shooting" is the closest paper magazine that address real long range shooting 'stuff' . Also Christensen Arms has their own mag now and it is advertised as an LRH magazine. Good luck.

This right here is the best for LRH.

There are related magazines...
Varmint Hunter
Precision Shooting
Sniper

I don't subscribe, but pick up one of these every now and then.
