I am loading 168g Berger VLD's in my 7mm RM hunting rifle (Rem 700 ADL)
I began seating the bullet at the max length that would reliably feed from my magazine.
Eventually, I was able to get decent accuracy with a jump of .142 from the lands. In fact, the accuracy was very consistant at this jump.
Now that i have a load that is fairly accurate (.73 MOA @ 100 avg) i have 2 questions
1. Is this jump harmful to my gun?
2. If not, at what jump distance if any, does it become harmful.
BTW i am still above the max listed 3.290 COAL listed in my Lyman manual
