Load data for .270 wsm

The Alliant web site lists loads for a number of different 150 grain bullets, the 150 VLD is not one of them. I would use this as a guide. by starting low and working up. Regard less of the bullet about 67.0 grains is the max for a 150 weight bullet. I have not loaded the 150 VLD with RL-26 but I have loaded it with IMR-7977. I have loaded 140 Accubonds with RL-26. The reason for not using RL-26 was the IMR -7977 was a great load. From my experience I have not found that the VLD are that much different from other 150 grainers in how much powder that is required.

Check with the Berger Guys,.. they show, RL-26 with, the 140 grain, Classic Hunters and probably, can give you, Min / Max loads for, the 150's !
I shoot, the 140 Cl. Hunts @ 3,185 FPS with, IMR 7828 into, sub, 1/2 MOA, groups,.. usually / "sometimes",. LOL !
Be sure to, "Test" any Max. Loads, on, WARM Days to see IF,.. over Pressure or,.. not !
