Also did gunwerks do the load development for this rifle
I believe I purchased the gun in the fall of 2009. The rifle originally had the Huskemaw scope and I replaced it with the Nightforce. I drove up to Burlington Wyoming and picked it up. I do not have a build sheet for this gun. To the best of my knowledge it was built with the following components:
-Stiller action branded for Gunwerks
-Broughton barrel
-Jewell trigger
-Talley light weight rings
I purchased 200 rounds of Gunwerks loaded ammo when I picked up the gun. It was loaded with 168 grain Berger VLD Hunting bullets. I have about half of a box left.
Ad says LR 1000, action says LR 1200?
I think Gunwerks was in the process of trying to develop a longer range gun at the time they built this rifle. The action is the same as the LR 1000.
Buy with confidence. I have personally shot this rifle many times and been on many hunts that the he has taken it on since it was new to present and witnessed many kills by he and his daughter out past 800yds on antelope, deer and elk. This will make someone a great left handed long range hunting rifle that is completely turn key. It shoots 1/2 moa all day long. Going to be a great buy for someone.
