Does anyone know what is under Leupold's standard finger adjustable dials? I notice that the dials themselves are not held with a set screw so they do not appear to come off.
Are they removable? Do they "snap" on an off or do you break something if you take one off?
I have thoughts of buying a new VX-3 machining my own turrets to replace the small finger adjustable dials...but I don't know if that is possible or not.
