Curious who you use? I've several done by most of the top names and all have been great to work with.
lri done some but prefer to have barrel manufacturer do it

Id hate to know how much flutin' it takes to justify the CNC or whatever is used for these patterns other than straight.
Then you have to be able to tell it what to do!
They are interesting to watch run though.

There must be money in it because plenty of shops are doing it.
A 3 axis cnc isn't exspensive and can flute any pattern.

Do you let the barrel manufacturer do the fluting to preserve warranty?
I do it because it eliminates one chance of it shooting like crap. But im not against having lri do it too if i get a deal on barrel

Nothing that LRI, Kampfeld or Pro Precision Rifles hasn't been doing.Have you guys seen the fluting on these Horizon rifles?

Yep, just interesting to see on a "factory" rifle. They are usually much more conservative.

That's a "custom" rifle, nothing factory about it.
Do you have snake river do the cerakoting? Saw a Lane rifle in their gallery.
