    This is a friend of mine who passed away last year in a diving accident. The most knowledgeable hnting partner I've ever had the privledge to hunt with.

    This little spot is very difficult to get to. It holds bucks that are in the 30" class. We missed a 40+" buck 5 years ago there.

    Thank you very much. He hunted that area for 35 years and knew every trail and camp for miles around. We made a plaque for him this past season and put it on a rock that we have always hunted from. I'll see if I can find it and post it.

    He shot a custom built 7STW with a 28" Shilen barrel. He was only 5'6", 135 pounds and he killed elk with that gun by just sitting down shooting off his backpack up to 850 yards away without any fancy equipment. Really an amazing person.
