Lee Collet Neck sizing die/ 6.5x55

I really like mine, but I am not so sure about "setup". The geometry is such that the collet is actuated and the neck sized when the collet hits the shell holder. If it hits too soon, you will only size the top end of the neck. Hits too late, and you will crush the shoulder. There was a thread a year or two ago about the collet sizer for 6.5x55 perhaps working for a 6.5-284. This is perhaps. The critical dimension is NOT the case length, its the distance from base to neck/shoulder junction. You should look up the dimentions of the above suggested alternatives and go from there. You would want a case that is identical to a sweede or slightly shorter (so that the shoulder of your sweede cannot be crushed.)

Midway is out of the 6.5x55 collet neck die. Some one out there has one they are not using.
