Ithaca rifle for long range?

I dont know squat about Ithaca rifles, but I do know that you can buy anything you want to customize a Remington 700.

That would be the route I'd go, if I were wanting to build a custom long range rig.

If what you have is an old LSA-65, it was made by Tikka. It already has a pretty nice adjustable trigger and integral dove tails for ring mounting. It's a bit light weight, but a nice piece of European iron. I know of no after market parts for these actions.

if your not building a big magnum have shaw screw in a nice barrel and go hunting my 6mm is in a grew 98 mauser which is a little long but i love a claw extractor so i steer away from model 700s and post 64 model 70s
