Is my barrel really that flexible

My hmr was sitting on my table (on a bipod) and i lifted the muzzel end with one finger and could make the barrel bend?? I got out my 270 same thing. If they are that noodely storing them supported seems like a good idea.My guns are very free floated (big gap)and glass bedded.
 
I think what you are seeing is the forearm of the stock flexing under the weight of the barrel and action. Even wih the lightest sporter barrel the amount of flex you would have would not be visable. Just my guess as to what is going on.

That's what I was thinking too.

OP, if you are concerned, take the barreled action out of the stock and try to bake it flex, I think you'll find that it's the stock, not the bbl
 
Well when i looked back at my rubber buttstock i could see it moving the same. But good trick to play on someone. Man the middle looks stationary.
