Hunting advice.

I had an opportunity to ask 3 Maryland DNR officers the OP's question while I caught them at lunch in Annapolis (where their HQ is located). After, looking back and forth at each other for several minutes, they agreed that finishing the animal with a knife would be the legal thing to do. But it took them a while.

Thanks a lot Jerry, good to know that DRN officers could understand such circumstances and allow hunters to do the right thing, good stuff.
