Equipment: Rem 700 7RM, 168gr berger bullet, 2930MV, 1.43 bullet length, 9.25 twist rate, Brian Litz book with point mass ballistics software, NF NXS 5.5-22x56mm scope with zero stop, illumination, quick adjustment turrets, Timney trigger, hogue stock, NF one piece base with 20MOA...Powder is Reloader 19, CCI primers, Hornady, WW, and Federal Brass

Problem: How to accurately adjust for differing distances and make the proper vertical click adjustments...for instance making a card that says for my specific riflesystem and load...at 300yds 8clicks up, 400yds 15clicks up, 500yds 20clicks up so on and so forth???

The software says for our rifle and load where the trajectory will be in INCHes and I really need to know how to calculate that into click adjustments. My scope adjustment is 1 click= 1/4MOA. Can someone help me with this?

Here's my Trajectory in Inches out to 1000yds (Point Mass Ballistics Software)
Range Trajectory (in)
0 -1.50
100 0
200 -3.00
300 -11.03
400 -24.68
500 -44.62
600 -71.64
700 -106.66
800 -150.71
900 -205.04
1000 -271.10

i normally work in metres and mils,

but for moa and yards, i take the inch drop figure and divide it by 1/10th of the yardage,

so 50 inches at 750 yards would be 50 divided by 7.5 = 6.66 minutes

then just times the minutes x 4 and there is your click total for a 1/4 scope
