Trying to reload for a friend who has an X-Bolt. He wants to shoot the 210 Noslers. Here is what I have to work with:

Brass - Once fired Federal and new Nosler
Bullets - Nosler 210 Partitions
Fed 215 Primers (Think I have CCI also)
Redding Die set
Pretty good variety of powders: H1000, RL 19, H4350, IMR 4350, IMR 4831, Varget

Suggestions on loads?
Thanks for any help!

I have a Ruger that like 210 partitions w/imr4350 I believe it was near book max in 5edtion nosler manual. I always use fed 215 or fed215 match with all my belt rounds WBY and Win.

I have had the best luck with IMR4350 with the 210's.I had the best speed and groups with 72 grains. That load has taken four moose and they all went straight down.

I dont have a load for that bullet but I will say I have tried a lot of powders in the 338 win and the problem I had with most recommended powders was I couldnt get enough in the case. Finally I tried Hunter (spherical powder) and I settled on 77.5 gr behind a 225 TTSX

From my experience with the 338 Win Mag. the medium slow burn rate powders seem to work better. RL-19, IMR-4350, H4350 and IMR-4831 all work well with the 210 Nosler Partition. That also means that RL-17 would also be a good choice even though I have not tried that combination yet.

Pa Grizz's load of 72 grains of IMR-4350 should be a very good load, with Fed cases and Fed 215 primers.

I've rechambered my 338WM to 338/26-Nosler (will Nosler formally chamber it and call it 33-Nosler??? Gosh I hope so and I pray they don't change any body dimensions)

When I was shooting it as a 338WM I was using RL-17 and really having fun.

QL gives a moderate pressure using 71.1 of RL-17 for a an fps of ~2900. Very nice. I'd have to check my logs for what I was doing with the 225s but I was getting ~2750

Powders:
H4350
IMR4350
RL-19
Varget

IMO All great for the 338WM

For what it's worth, my rifle, a Win 70 26" S/S, really likes RL19 with all bullets from 200gr up. Another good powder, but not as fast, is H4350. I found H4831 to be disappointing in both velocity and accuracy.

Cheers.
