Back in the "old days" gale McMillan and Wes Harris partnered up and made rifles. They parted ways, Wes started Harris gun works. There is very little info about his rifles. The action looks a lot like McMillan's current g30 action but their website states parts are not interchangeable. Do any of you know if the Harris signature action is any good? Would it be a good action to build on. The one I came across has a jewel trigger, what appears to be a sako extractor and doesn't look like it was shot much at all just has a poor choice in barrel twist for long range shooting, if the actions are quality I would pick it up for a builder. Thanks for any info.
