Group size 17 Remington shooters

When your working up a load at what point are you satisfied with your loads performance..............Velocity and Group size. and are your groups consistant?

When the group size is small enough and will do it consistently. I also depends on the type or weight of the rifle. The rifle that shot the groups below weights 6lb 4oz. ready to hunt.

My CZ527 shoots 1/2 inch consistently. I believe it would do better with a better shooter behind it.

I have a Cooper 21 that shoots sub 1/2 minute if the barrel is clean.

1/2" at 100yds isn't anything to sneeze at.

My old Remington shoots half inch at 100 metres. I don't own a chronograph so no idea of speed. I don't bother trying to reduce groups further that that, it's plenty good enough for the hunting I do
