I have the itch for another build. Here is what I have in mind. I am thinking of building a 375 RUM and throating it to push those 350 SMK's out the end. I was thinking a heavy (.9-1.0 muzzle) lawton bbl on it with a mcmillian stock, about a 15-20 lb rifle. not a carry gun by any means but something light enough I could carry if I really wanted to. I really like the big 375's so this was what I had in mind.
I have a 338 Lapua that is 10.5 scopped and several other smaller rifles so I am kinda leaning towards the bigger caliber in a heavy gun. What do you guys think? any other suggestions on a 375 cartridge? I am planning on using a remington action so the cheytac is out I am not opposed to a 378 wby and single shoting it.
